BOOK FAIR FRAUD

Here is another rot that one of the followers of our blog want to expose about the "glorified LEF book fairs and literature and media "gospel" ministry. These book fairs were the "brain child" of Late President  and here is the report of how his "brain child" has turned into another means for LEF rogues to siphon out money from the system....

Dear LEF Whistleblowers,

You have taken a bold step. It is like fighting the mammoth. We want to bring your attention to the fraud that happens in the “glorified book fairs” of LEF. Money transactions are not transparent in book fairs that are conducted in India and elsewhere. People who are in charge of book fairs do not give any accounts to anybody and take the money home that they make from these sales. Some of these so called volunteers take their wives and their extended families along with them to the book fairs and are enjoying lodging services in big hotels. They eat in expensive restaurant and all of this money that they spend on themselves is coming straight from the sales. The so called managers of book fairs do not come to the hall where these book fairs are going on but stay back in hotels. All they do is sleep, and eat and make friendship with local girls. Only the “selected team” will go all the time and this team cover for each other in the wrong doing. No new person is allowed to join the book fair team and if any somebody volunteers to join the team, they will ensure that the person is driven away. The book fair managers curry the favor of big dogs and the first family and project to the people that they are doing a great service to the public. But all these are paid holidays. These book fair managers don’t even talk to the customers who are coming to buy books. They sit at the cash counter and use the local boys and girls to set up the book fairs and make them do all the running around.These people of the book sell items at a way higher price than marked to cover up their excess expenditure.  If the items do not have a printed price, then they put exorbitant prices and sell them.Worse still is, book fair people started selling things that have nothing to do with gospel and LEF in the book fairs for their own gain to make money. These people are using LEF name and LEF platform to do personal business to make money. What is ironic is that these frauds are elevated by LEF leadership and are allowed to give their “humble” reports in the retreats. We highly suspect that first  family gets to pocket a substantial amount of the loot money these book fair team makes from the sale of books. Please do something to expose their excesses.

Here is an account of an ex-evangelist of LEF who also happened to be the ex- bible college student of LEF. Sam Ezhil wrote this write up to be published in the blog. Joshua Daniel asked Sam Ezhil to leave LEF after Sam selflessly served LEF for 18 years. Sam's crime was he presented some unpleasant facts to Joshua Daniel. It has always been the wont of LEF leadership to snub and malign people who bring out the dark secrets of LEF operations to light.
LEFI leaders have turned LEF into a cult. Save your children and your families from these cult leaders as they can permanently damage your thinking faculties and hurt your children with their vice like grip.

This is what happened at the last evangelists' meeting convened by Joshua Daniel before his death. Joshua Daniel squarely scolded a senior pastor of LEF for exhorting the people to go to God. (I think Joshua Daniel wanted the people come to him not Him). This is the characteristic of a cult. Many years ago in one of the LEF prayer meetings my wife prayed "Lord we can always come to you". That is it. The senior pastor's wife called my wife and told her if she wants to go to God directly what for they are there. I was aghast and told my wife plainly that there is only one mediator between God and man that is Jesus Christ Himself. So for every deviation from the word I had to fight. Praise God my wife was understanding and was always on my side. They threatened her saying some terrible thing would surely happen to me. I took oil and anointed my wife every night rebuking the fearful spirit with which LEF folks try to manipulate the congregation members. One day Joshua Daniel asked me as what I had given for God's work and I was taken aback with his direct question. Of course I told him plainly I have given my life for God's work. (I was a full time youth worker of the LEF then). I had 6 years of training at HQs (without a degree). One day I confronted Whitson uncle for the lack of proper course module and a degree for us and he was evasive and I understood I would not get a proper reply. Finally I was asked by Joshua Daniel to leave the LEF after 18 years of my service. Somebody asked me whether I had given my resignation letter for which I replied when did they give me an appointment order?

Respected Dear Dr. Pushparaj,

I am happy to know that you respect the Laymen’s Evangelical Fellowship, I read your information in Janakaran with interest, and will you please ask the following questions to the leadership of the LEF, Madras and publish if they reply / publish a translation of this letter. I know the answers to the questions and every word I have written is true. I doubt if you will hold the LEF leadership with the same regard after reading this letter.

I am writing this letter to you because I am fed up with the drama and the lies and I am hopeful that you will be able to get answers to these questions from late President

1.     Is it true that the first daughter of the great chairman got married and divorced, more times than one can count?

4.     Don’t only the grand children of the great chairman sing in the stage as a choir, their travel costs are paid by the organization out of the offerings, what is their remuneration for singing, The DVD of them singing is sold, who pockets the money ( 5 or 6 figures in $$$). Are there no other talented children who can sing in the LEF? 

My Answer: There are but will not be allowed.

5.     Do you pay / pension your evangelists, NO you refuse to pay them a single rupee, telling them that God will supply all their needs, ( but email / send letters asking them to send the offering money back). All your money is mine us your credo. Self- supporting missionary means, support me.

My Answer: No. Evangelists have to exercise faith

6.     Do you ever have a register of workers, or are all presumed to be volunteers, do you pay them medical / children educational assistance. No you tell them that God should pay for them. Is there no money in the LEF? It is there but for one family only.

7.     Why don’t you add a budget statement at the end of the great annual report, which is read in the great Anniversary day celebrated at all centers, or do you plan to give an account to God only, it will be too late. You receive money from the public, you owe them an account.

8.     What is your personal net worth / of the (First Family), what is the LEF treasury, are not both one and the same. In whose name the properties have been registered, (illegally in your name, and in your children’s name). Are not big houses for your family members being built, trying to fool everyone that they would become prayer center?

9.     Are not the Daniel family members who have blue blood preferred for preaching over sincere workers with years of experience (age of the Daniel family members will be less that the ordinary evangelists experience) and boosted up, saying God told me?

My Answer: Yes

10.  Does not a one family member play the drums, another family member play the trumpet, another family member play the organ, another family member  play the piano, another family member l lead the singing at the same time and in the same stage, another family member  will preach, the retreats are family members' shows, where the first family is brought to India at LEF expense for a nice holiday and to share picking.

11.  What happens in Beulah Gardens, is it a Bible College / Bible University / your family picnic spot, if it is a Bible college who is the Dean (what is his age). What is the syllabus, what degrees are given there, you say we teach faith, but is there any instance in the Bible where faith was taught? Beulah Garden is an open prison where people are worked to death without salary, who take care of the farm, the cows, the sheep, and the fishes, with teams (gangs) for masonry, welding and carpentry, so that LEF centers can be built up with slave labor (so that you need not spend) are they paid for? 

My Answer: No, the bible says the workmen is worthy of his wages.

12.  Don’t you plan that working wives should support your evangelism so that the evangelist’s work becomes free for you, and deliberately plan for that, and refuse to suggest alternate boy / girl until at last the boy / girl agrees to your choice? How many marriages you suggested are living Hells, will you accept any responsibilities ever, don’t you send Evangelists into new places without language training / money / any preparations?’ And boast about this humble behavior.

13.  Parents are expected to take care of their sons and daughters families after their marriage, especially the child bearing expenses; The LEF leadership will not pay a paise to the worker. The wife of the worker has to bear the brunt of supporting of financially supporting the family. What is your motive behind this?

My Answer: The idea is to make people poor so that they will be subservient to the leader.

14.  Don’t you know that your extended family members openly eating the offerings, and live a wildlife? You know this is known to you, one of them is playing music in Night clubs but is still supported by the offerings given by people who believe that the money is given for “God”

15.  With a sickening regularity the senior members of your inner circle are accused openly of stealing money. Do you maintain proper accounts for the collected offerings?

My Answer: It is an open loot.

16.  Do you have peace and harmony in your extended family?

My Answer: No, each try to grab as much as possible.

17.  Don’t you think the words of Christ are correct? “By their fruits you shall know them, My house shall be called a House of prayers, you have made it into a den of thieves.”

My Answer: They are but they don’t apply to us as we follow a different Bible

18.  Why do some preachers pocket the offering and live without a care in the world, with permanent employment for life, no pension but faithful loyal workers.

My Answer: These preachers will never question what the president does and are rewarded so as to live without any care.

19.  When you zip around the fancy Mercedes cars and Aero planes and appear in Satellite TV do you think of the ordinary evangelists for whom cycle is a luxury don’t you always pretend that you are a poor man and act “once upon a time I had an ordinary cycle, you will start sprucing, “once upon a time, I was cycling” (all would start laughing sheepishly)

My Answer: These preachers will never question what the president does and are rewarded so as to live without any care.

20. Why have you stopped your preaching trips to Andhra Pradesh?

My Answer:  Because all people in Andhra also have become equally greedy and are giving you 100% of the offerings like their parents did.

My Answer: German LEF booted you out and I wonder why?

22.  Are not senior evangelists just dismissed without even an inquiry based on your statement unruly / ungodly etc.?

My Answer: You have the ultimate power to hire and fire

23.  Are not 4 families crammed in one small room, with a very small bathroom, without even a single hook to hang clothes, without even a chair to sit, (beds would be available on hire) and you would shout, “Do you understand how much electricity is used for the fans”?

My Answer: Yes

24.  At the same time, you will stay in an A/C room, your son and family will stay in a multi room A/C complex with furniture, linen and servants. Do you ever bother about the electricity for the Air Conditioners?

My Answer: You and your family is entitled to it as you are the owner of LEF

25.  Indians have to sit on the ground / on chaits while the white skins can have an A/C/ hyall, while the Indians will have to sleep in the open / under trees/ in crammed rooms for the whites a separate nice room with a bed and facilities would be provided, why? This Apartheid.

26.  Why are cars provided for your family members while everybody else has to walk or roll to the meeting?

My Answer: You and your family is entitled to it as you are the owner of LEF

27.  While the poor Indians are given boiled rice during retreats (provided free by the LEF farmers from Andhra) prepared by with cooks who are paid nothing, the rich shop and eat idli, vada, pongal and Chicken Biryani which are sold at a premium price. Are you all conducting retreats or running restraunts?

My Answer: Soon open a KFC, a MacDonald’s, a Bar and a Marriage center, you can get more money. Go open your eyes and see, whether in any church retreat anywhere in the world such things happen.

28.  All will have to pay for the water, for coconut juice, for watermelon juice, cakes, samosas, puffs, cool drinks, etc., etc. at high prices OK but where does the profits go? 

My Answer: Direct to the pockets of the First Family.

29.  What happens to the considerable offerings taken, where the great president the humble great man of God announces “we are giving you an opportunity to participate in the work of God” what is this work of God and why use the offertory bag? 

My Answer: To make a rich family richer. Collect the money directly in your briefcase and purses.

30.  Who are the members of the LEF trust? Who is the treasurer, why don’t you make their names public? (You don’t because all belong only to your family, no one knows the composition of the board, put this information on the website). As no foreign citizen is authorized to be either member / treasurer, your children lie in the VISA form and inform that they are coming to India on tourist purpose but come for business reason (to eat money). After this lie they preach, will God be pleased with a lie? NO. The Devils jump for joy.

31.  Are not the LEF retreats falsely informed in the reports to the Government as Annual General Body Meetings, resolutions are passed (secretly), to help you in your looting business.

34.  How did you try to sell an immovable property in donated to the LEF in Madras against trust rules in the pretext that nobody lives there?

My Answer: Because you wanted the money so that it becomes easier to spend.

35.  Are not the teachers, Nurses, Doctors, in the LEF Schools and dispensaries paid a small amount (Rs.2000 – 3000) a month and what happens to these girls eventually?

My Answer: The catch line is that such girls are ready cannon fodder for marriage to LEF evangelist trainees.

36.  Did not 20 brothers die when unpaid volunteers came to do slave labor in the Retreat Campus, (in some cases both son and father had died, leaving two families headless). Did it occur to your sadistic heart to at least give them 1000 Rupees?

My Answer: Instead of helping the victim you openly denied that they were coming to the retreat.

37.  Do you ever think what will ever happen to the LEF after your life gets over (like ELI who was old, fat, blind supporting his useless children and unspiritual like you)?

39.  Are the buildings built as per approved plans, who owns them, your family isn’t it. How much is dividend paid per LEF?

40.  Who pays for the foreign trips of the first family members, will you please show the passports.

My Answer: Of course, LEF pays for all this. LEF is a family owned business

41.  Don’t you always pretend “I have never taken a single penny?” yes you have only taken rupees.

42.  Why do your family members safely settle while they ask for all to live dangerously for Jesus, why can’t your children work in the LEF schools at the same salary?

My Answer: Nobody questions what first family members as they are anointed of the lord.

43.  Why always pretend, “Special revelations came to the Senior family members from God himself” and so the first family has an extra special revelations and a message to the continents and countries and to the churches, Why always say My father told me … and why the talk, “Angels came to our house.”

44.  Are there any committees in LEF?

My Answer: Is there only one committee “God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and You” (As per your own words)

Blogger’s note: There are no indications that Latepresident opened his eyes on this side of the Jordan before he died. He did not do anything to correct all the wrongs he had done to LEF and its people. Another incident in the LEF H.Q.  A guy named ABC had an affair with a girl from Andhra and also taken her to the room and finished everything with her. Then when he was caught he just said that they were talking with each other. But, the girl said that he did everything to her and that she would marry only him. Knowing this Lily Daniel said- “no, you can't marry her, I have got another girl for you  in Bhansi and you have to marry her, you run away for some time and then go and get married to her (the one in Bhansi) somewhere. How atrocious is this???? I was shocked and my hands and feet turned chill hearing these...no words...it's high time for some serious action legally.

Unveiling few things:

1. There formed a group of evangelists who are from prominent centers, they keep close in contact and protect each other from being exposed of their crimes.
2. They distribute among themselves the robbed sum and enjoy luxuries at so called 'Revival Meetings'
3. They shared among themselves regions to reign. And avoid and arrest encroachment in their region by other evangelists.
4. They submit their personal and seasonal offerings to the leaders of LEF to keep them happy and retrain their position in LEF.
5. They write anonymous letters, propagate lies on smaller evangelists around them, bombard them and harass them irrespective of the sicknesses and poverty of smaller evangelists.
6. They build and buy properties in secret, sometimes rob from the congregation members in a way that they are correcting them according to the Word of God.
7. Some visit big centers only in first two weeks so that they can get offerings from house visits of employed believers. They also take 20% of the Sunday Offering from the center they visit to preach. They remove people who are upright from accounts department and appoint people who support and cover their sins.
8. They take active part in retreats and revival meetings and are seen sitting and standing with the leaders of the Fellowship.
9. They also distributed among themselves departments which bring them good income viz. Bookstall, CD stall, Tuck Shop, Canteens, Wall Calendars, Pocket Calendars, Magazines, Fruit Stalls, Schools, Clinics etc.
10. They arrange marriages and sometimes stop marriages which can make them weak and give prominence to other families.
11. They will not allow smaller and weaker evangelists to see the leaders so that their sins are not brought to light.
12. If any person in the congregation or a nearby evangelist tries to raise their voice they are oppressed and forced to leave LEF with wrong allegations.
13. There is no account of the offerings which are collected in their own centers. For instance, if 10 bags of offerings are raised only 6 are counted and accounted and sent to the HQ. The four others are the disciples of the local evangelists and are so skilled in taking the bags to their designated so called prayer rooms. And these disciples are mostly used on the stage in that center and sent for preaching in sub-centers.
14. Some register lands which are given to God in their own name and take Gold which are found in the offering bag.
15. HQ do not know that few LEF Center exists. Some people run LEF branded churches in areas where there is no LEF center. They take the blessings of the BIG evangelists in the area and submit their offerings to that BIG evangelists in timely basis. They are also allowed to be trainees.
16. Elder evangelists are completely ignored and are harassed.
17. Evangelist widows are never cared for and are completely ignored.
18. Bible College is a group of sacrificed boys and girls who are slaughtered one after the other. They are neither taught The Bible nor education. Rather they are used to wash cars, water plants and cater to the big evangelists and leaders. They are not served proper food and are sent to far away places when found to be a possible threat in HQ or BG.
19. There is no transparency in collection and utilization of funds. most of the funds are misused for luxuries of the leaders family(except few who are not cooperative) and big evangelists - cars, flight tickets, hotels, electronic gadgets, lands, flats etc.
20. Humble people are abused and whipped from the platform. John Daniel refereed Andhras as cheap, beggars on the roads of US, pigeon head men, filthy rags, show-off people. On his very first message after assuming the reigns of the Fellowship (when Dr.Samraj Samuel read the letter of Bro.Joshua Daniel) he spoke very negative on Telugu People. He insulted and hurt Telugu in many messages. LEF parents and children are money minded when they or their children go to US to work. They are even asked to go back to India saying it is "against the will of God"

Looks like sins of Daniel family are ripe:

It has been brought to our attention that an evangelist's family has been brutally abused during youth retreat by John Daniel and Lily Daniel. The son of the family has been physically harassed and his electronics gadgets were forcefully snatched away form him by John Daniel. We were afraid that this violent John Daniel would abuse youngsters both physically and verbally and our fears have come true. We will not leave any stone unturned in booking these criminals and bringing justice to oppressed families of LEFI.

Why are people finding hard to accept the truths about LEF ? Please empathize with the oppressed...

We are seeing that some LEFI people are offended because this page is bringing out some dark secrets about the clandestine operations of LEFI. LEFI, like many other Christian organizations started with good intentions. But somewhere down the road, LEFI got off the tracks with greedy men and women taking over the reins. The internal politics of the first family lead to massacre of LEFI. After the administration was moved out of the oldest daughter of the founder, HQ has become a harbor to hardcore criminals like IC. The former head of LEF who died not long ago let his beloved wife go rampant and destroy everything that simple, devoted and guileless evangelists built toiling day and night. Some of these evangelists put their lives on line. Some of them worked for 40, 50 and 60 years without any remuneration believing that their reward is in heaven. Leave alone being remunerated, these poor evangelists who do not know any better are harassed, humiliated and driven out of their centers after being maligned with usually two charges – stealing money or fooling around with women. These people cannot get any justice. What will a 70 year old man who has worked his entire life for LEF after being totally cut off from the rest of the world (because that’s what LEF demands from its followers) do when he is falsely accused and kicked out of a center? What can a Bible college student who in his early twenties gave up a secular path of becoming a doctor, engineer or an IT professional to come get trained in LEF to become an evangelist do if he is kicked out of Bible college after staying there for 5-10 years? These people who have no other resort are just mutilated by the rogues who are running the show. What did those of you who are offended with what we are saying on this page do to correct the wrongs that are happening in LEF? You want to send us private messages and tell us that God will punish us and curse us…What kind of “brainwashed” people LEF has made out of some smart and intelligent people….Open your eyes and see what is the truth and spend your energy in salvaging LEF instead of pronouncing curses….

If people are not given receipts then they are robbed twice - once by LEFI and once by the government as they cannot get tax exemption for religious donations that they make to LEFI. What have these few top people of LEFI done to this once wonderful organization where we felt loved, welcomed and most of all valued... The present LEF leadership has turned people of great values and virtues into worthless people... What did the poor evangelists do wrong to see their entire lives' hard work to build LEF be mocked like this...???

WHY IS THE CURRENT LEADER NOT FIT TO BE HEAD OF LEFI

Current leader (you know who) is not the right person to lead LEF. This is clear exhibition of Nepotism.Even in America the county where John is a Citizen George Bush Jr had to wait for 8 years after his father left the while house to be elected president.

Dr.Billy Graham's son Franklin Graham started is own organization Samaritan's Purse ans after 20 years on request joined Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.Shocking that people are taking admonitions from John without responding .Is LEF following the British Monarchy /Congress Culture.

Some bold guy out there must tell Jcurrent leaders quoting Matthew 6:24 that he is not fit to be a leader.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money (NIV)

Current leader is not a full time evangelist.He works in the secular world in Michigan.A Part Time Evangelist has no right to pass comments on Full time evangelists and Bible College Students

SAVE THE BIBLE COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM CONCENTRATION CAMP THAT IS CALLED BIBLE TRAINING SCHOOL:

How can we let bible college students cook and eat and wash in such dirty kitchens and how can we allow them to work like slaves? Do these goons who are leaders of LEFI clean dishes here? Do they eat here? Do they drink water from this kitchen? ... Arise.. Awake .. do not sleep till the board is booked, dismantled and dethroned.

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE RUIN OF LEFI HAS THE STAGE TO DESTROY OUR YOUNG ONES

The same lady who threatens people to destroy them is also standing up in front of people to preach about conversion -"At conversion you turn from your thoughts to god's thoughts and from your ways to god's ways and that's the real sign of being born again." Looks like some of these leaders have dead conscience... They claim to be born again and tell others what happens when they are born again...but when she finds a helpless victim, she threatens to destroy them.
